Microsoft promised to fix Windows 8 interface mistakes in Windows 8.1

Microsoft officially announced the first major update of Windows 8 OS.

Windows 8.1 includes updates and improvements of the OS aspects including the lock screen, Start menu, Windows Store, on-screen board etc. Moreover Microsoft updated some native applications and added some new applications including stopwatch and updated calculator.

Windows 8.1 will be available by the end of the year as a free update for Windows 8 users. Users will be able to get update via Windows Store.
