When marking returnable containers, inventory, equipment, and various products, the task often arises of marking multiple sides or components. To solve this problem, label sets, also known as "label sets," are used. Labels in "sets" contain: (set) is printed with information that allows for the unambiguous identification of the object to which it is applied, either automatically or visually.
A roll label in "four streams" is used to mark returnable containers, inventory, and property on four sides. Labels are printed side by side (in a stream), and the numbering changes in each row. This label printing option is very convenient for application and helps avoid confusion and errors during labeling.
Marking on multiple sides ensures convenient scanning of codes when placing boxes on pallets, as well as during inventory control, as it provides easy access for scanning without the need to move items during inventory control. This significantly simplifies the inventory process and saves a significant amount of time.
To ensure easy scanning, labels can be applied to the sides, or two to the sides and one each to the top and bottom.
For labeling paired inventory, sets of two identical labels are used for each item. These labels are used for rentals of sports equipment: skis, poles, and specialized sports shoes.
