Zebra LI2208 is a linear barcode scanner capable of reading barcodes from paper labels, as well as from the screens of mobile phones, tablets, and laptops. This allows retail operators to quickly and accurately process loyalty cards, mobile coupons, and high-density barcodes.

The optical system of the Zebra LI2208 enables barcode reading over a wide range of distances — 100% UPC barcodes with a density of 13 mil can be scanned from direct contact up to 76.2 cm, while 200% UPC barcodes with a density of 26 mil can be read from distances up to 140 cm. Long-range scanning is especially useful in retail environments for reading barcodes from items in shopping carts or on conveyors. Additionally, barcodes can be captured at wide angles of up to 35°, simplifying the scanning process.

The LI2208 has no internal cables, connectors, or other components that typically fail in many scanners. It features a patented single-board design, ensuring durability — the scanner withstands 100 drops from 1.5 meters and repeated drops from 1.8 meters onto concrete.

Using a dedicated stand, the Zebra LI2208 can be converted into a hands-free scanner. The stand provides convenience and automatically switches the scanner from handheld to presentation mode.

The scanner uses a new auto-detect cable that recognizes the interface type. The device supports over 90 international keyboard layouts and is ready to use immediately after connection.
