Visual Content Guidelines for Vostok-IT Websites
This document is intended for suppliers, manufacturers, software developers, and partners preparing materials for publication on the websites of Vostok-IT.
The purpose of these guidelines is to ensure a consistent visual standard for presenting products, solutions, and brands, improve content perception, and accelerate the approval and publishing process.
1. General Principle
Images should not only present the product but also help users understand how it is applied in real-world environments such as production, warehousing, logistics, or enterprise systems.
Priority is given to visuals that demonstrate not only the product itself, but its role in solving practical business tasks.
2. Recommended Types of Images
2.1. Main Product Image
- the product should be clearly visible and prominent;
- a neutral background is preferred (white, light, or grey);
- minimal distractions and no unnecessary objects;
- clean and professional presentation.
2.2. Application Images
- equipment used in real environments (production, warehouse, laboratory);
- interaction between users and the product;
- demonstration of actual business processes.
2.3. Diagrams and Process Visualizations
- integration schemes (ERP, MES, EAM, WMS);
- infographics;
- visual representation of workflows such as tracking, identification, or labeling.
2.4. Detail Images
- control elements;
- displays and interfaces;
- construction details;
- materials and build quality.
3. Technical Requirements
- Format: JPEG or PNG;
- Recommended size: up to 600x800 pixels;
- Quantity: from 1 to 8 images per page;
- File names should preferably be in Latin transliteration.
4. Watermarks
Images without watermarks are preferred.
Allowed:
- small and unobtrusive watermarks;
- manufacturer logo placed in a corner;
- branding that does not interfere with product visibility.
Not allowed:
- large watermarks across the center of the image;
- URLs, contact details, or promotional text;
- any elements covering key parts of the product.
5. Not Acceptable
- blurred or low-quality images;
- screenshots from PDFs or presentations;
- overloaded collages with excessive text;
- irrelevant or generic images not related to the product;
- images taken from third-party websites without adaptation.
6. Common Mistakes
- providing only promotional banners instead of product images;
- lack of application visuals for complex solutions;
- mixing different styles and quality levels on one page;
- using very small or cropped images.
7. Recommended Image Set

- Product in use;
- Process or integration diagram (if applicable);
- Additional detail images.
8. Visual Style
- clean and professional;
- industrial and business-oriented;
- clear and easy to understand;
- minimal visual noise;
- focused on application and practical value.
9. If Full Image Set Is Not Available
The following materials are acceptable:
- a main product image;
- technical diagrams or illustrations;
- generic industry-related visuals matching the application context.
However, original images provided by the manufacturer or supplier are always preferred.
10. Summary
The better the visual materials are prepared, the faster they will be approved and published on the Vostok-IT websites.
High-quality visuals improve product perception, build trust, and enhance the overall presentation of solutions to customers.
